About
I’m Thais.
I work across innovation, strategy, design and community projects.
I step into ideas that have potential but still need structure. I ask questions, connect people who see different parts of the problem, and help turn what we learn into something that can actually move forward.
Sometimes that becomes a product. Sometimes a service, a program, a community experience or even a book.

Where I come from
I’m from Peru, and I now call Minnesota home.
My work and life have taken me across South, North and Central America, Europe and New Zealand. Moving between places, cultures and ways of working has shaped how I see problems.
It taught me to look for context before assuming an answer, to notice how differently people can experience the same system, and to stay curious about perspectives different from my own.

Curiosity.
Collaboration.
Impact.
Always.
What I do best
Create clarity from ambiguity
Turning an opportunity or an unclear problem into something people can understand and act on.
Connect different perspectives
Bringing business, technical, operational, creative and community perspectives into the same conversation.
Turn ideas into structure
Moving from “we could do this” to a model, experience, plan or system that can actually be built.
Design for what happens next
Thinking beyond delivery so the work can be used, extended or carried forward by others.
The way I work
Every project begins differently. The way I approach it does not.
The projects in this portfolio became very different things: digital products, programs, community initiatives, communication systems and personal objects.
What stays consistent isn’t the outcome.
It’s how I move the work forward.
- 01
Understand deeply.
Ask questions before proposing solutions. Understand the people, relationships and context shaping the challenge.
- 02
Reveal patterns.
Connect perspectives and ideas that may initially appear unrelated. Make complexity easier to understand.
- 03
Design with intention.
Turn what we learn into clear choices, structures and next steps that people can actually use.
- 04
Create lasting impact.
Look beyond the immediate problem and design for what the work can make possible next.
Different contexts.
Different questions.
The same instinct to understand what matters and make something useful from it.
